The studio in itself is gorgeous and comfortable. Bed is cozy, roon is spacious. The little pool area is cute and the building is clean. However, the listing indicates onsight parking, which doesn't exist. You must park on the street. Good luck. There was no silverware or kitchen utensils but there were pots, pans, plates, and cups. The bathroom, though gorgeous and clean, had no hot water. Ran the tap for 15 min and it was ice cold. Not exactly a bang for my buck, but not completely terrible. It'll do in a pinch

Very welcome and welcoming Positive: We were among those stranded January 3, 2026 when US airlines were grounded from flying the Caribbean that day, so we suddenly needed a place for a second, unplanned week in PR. This apartment was perfect: it is walking distance from a gorgeous and uncrowded beach, many affordable restaurants, and two supermarkets as well as multiple pharmacies and small convenience stores. It was easy also to walk to a pick-up point for one of the guided tourism "adventures" in Charco Azul. Since we already had been in Puerto Rico for over a week (expecting to return home on the 3rd) and were without clean clothes, we happily made full use of the apartment's washer-dryer. We also appreciated its kitchenette, because although we'd loved eating out every day the preceding week, we were glad to slow that down during this second part of our stay. The surrounding neighborhoods are friendly and people helpful. And, while other guests were also in the building including a family with small kids, we seldom heard any of them, with everything being peaceful and quiet. Negative: I would just warn you that if you have never before visited San Juan that you would not be conveniently within walking distance to Old San Juan and its sites, restaurants, or clubs, or even really to some of the beaches (for snorkeling, scuba diving, and kayaking), restaurants, and dancing places in the neighborhoods adjacent to Old San Juan. However, you would be a very, very short drive to any of those, or even (as I would recommend) to drop-off and pick-up points from which you could explore those neighborhoods and their amenities on foot or perhaps bike (without worrying about the frequent bumper-to-bumper traffic and/or parking garage challenges).
